Spring is all about rebirth, and there’s no better deity to represent that than Osiris, the Egyptian god of the underworld and renewal. 🌱🌊
Osiris, the son of Geb (Earth) and Nut (Sky), was married to Isis, who was also his sister (ancient Egyptian customs were quite different—no judgment! 😉). He is strongly associated with the seasonal flooding of the Nile, which was vital for fertility, life, and prosperity.
⚡ The Myth of Osiris:
Osiris’ death and resurrection is a tale of both brutality and hope. His jealous brother Set tore him apart and scattered his remains. But Isis, through powerful magic, found and reassembled his body, bringing him back to life long enough to conceive their son, Horus.
