“An it harm none, do as ye will.”
Eight simple words, yet they carry deep meaning. I’ve tried to live by this philosophy, though it’s not always easy. Even before I found my way to the Craft, I believed in the idea of treating others as I’d like to be treated 🤝. It just made sense—not to do to someone else what I wouldn’t want done to me.
But here’s the challenge: We can’t always predict how our words or actions will affect others. 🌎 Sometimes, we have to make tough choices—putting ourselves and our own needs first. So how do we, as witches, move through life while still honoring the Wiccan Rede? Not everyone follows it, and that’s okay. But it’s a question worth thinking about. 🤔✨
🌀 TRY THIS: Take a few moments to reflect on the Wiccan Rede. Do you try to live by it—even if you don’t consider yourself Wiccan? What does “harm none” mean to you? 💭
(For me, it includes not harming myself, so maybe that extra bowl of potato chips was a no-go 😅).
Step back and assess your recent actions. Are you living up to your own ideals of how you wish to treat others—and yourself? If not, what will you do to change that? 🌿💜
