Totem animals aren’t simply pets or mascots—they’re powerful symbols that link us to the energy of nature and the mystical world around us.
You don’t just choose a totem animal because it looks cool or you like it… in truth, it chooses you. (The author once had a whole flock of sheep as a totem. Yep. While others had wolves or eagles, she had… sheep. Baaaah!)

You might notice your totem animal popping up often—whether in dreams, signs, or symbols—especially during times of transition or spiritual growth.
Pay attention to the patterns or you might miss the message your animal guide is trying to send.

If your totem hasn’t revealed itself yet, you can invite it in through meditation or a little nature magic.
Head to a peaceful spot like a forest or garden, sit beneath a tree or rest on the earth, and ask Spirit to show you your guide. You might see it in your mind’s eye, spot a clue in your surroundings, or even have a magical encounter.
